At the crossroads of art and craft, Mariane Léger’s expertise lies in inlaying precious soft materials – silk velvet, moire, lace, rare traditional fabrics, gold leaf – onto wooden surfaces. This unique marquetry enhances the joinery by playing with light, texture and depth.
Mariane Léger founded the YUME PEMA workshop in 2012 and works with architects and interior designers to create bespoke pieces: ornaments for haute horlogerie cases, cigar humidors, mirrors, wall panels, screens or exceptional furniture elements.
Winner of the Artinov Prize and supported by the EY Foundation, this rare expertise opens up new horizons for luxurious and unique interiors.
